Job Summary:
The Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business markets. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular cadence meetings with respective business markets.
• Consults with the respective market leadership team providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
• Processes onboarding for new hires and review all terminations for accuracy within the respective business markets.
• Team with the Safety and Compliance Manager to successfully accomplish all safety objectives and create a safer environment for everyone.
• Work with business markets to ensure all worker's compensation claims are submitted timely.
• Cooperate and partner with the respective Payroll Specialist to address all payroll issues without delay.
• Partner effectively with your Talent Acquisition Specialist to proactively address and fulfill all your talent needs for your market.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Will be required to travel up to 40% of the time.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of HR Business Partner experience.
Bachelor's degree and bi-lingual preferred. - Experience in the core disciplines of HR including recruitment, compensation, learning, organizational development and in using data and analytics to identify important HR related trends.
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR practices and staffing industry trends.
Experience resolving complex employee relations issues. - Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- High level of integrity in maintaining sensitive and confidential information.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands, and arms and move objects up to 20 pounds.
