The Senior HRIS Analyst collaborates closely with the Senior HR Systems Manager, HR directors, and internal stakeholders to analyze and optimize work processes, enhance workflows, and maximize the value of HR technology platforms. This role is responsible for creating and managing project plans, ensuring timely execution, aligning system initiatives with organizational priorities, and contributing to long-term technology planning.
This position acts as a key technical liaison for designated HR functions and supports subject matter experts in maintaining data accuracy, testing system changes, generating reports, and evaluating data flows for process improvement opportunities. The analyst also plays a vital role in system upgrades, testing, and technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HRIS-related projects and process improvements, utilizing change management strategies to support transitions and improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Provide support for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HCM onboarding modules (eg, Dayforce).
- Identify, investigate, and analyze issues, problems, and opportunities within HR systems.
- Evaluate data from various sources to develop informed conclusions and support decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to track progress and ensure alignment with timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members to achieve project and organizational goals.
- Recommend innovative solutions, enhancements to customer service, or policy adjustments, subject to leadership approval.
- Apply data collection and analysis principles to support qualitative and quantitative measurement strategies.
- Maintain system integrity through regular maintenance, testing, and implementation of HR system upgrades and configurations.
- Provide technical and customer support, resolving issues, troubleshooting errors, and offering alternative solutions as needed.
- Generate, maintain, and support a variety of reports and queries using tools like Cognos BI and Excel; contribute to standardized reporting efforts and ongoing data integrity initiatives.
- Create user documentation, procedures, and training materials; facilitate training for new users and process rollouts.
- Assist in managing vendor data interfaces and ensuring successful data integration across systems.
- Stay current with trends in HRIS, including emerging tools, services, and best practices in HR technology and user training.
- Participate in relevant training opportunities, webinars, or user group conferences to enhance expertise and stay up to date on system functionality.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to special projects as assigned.
