The ideal candidate will live and work in the Denver, Colorado area. While the job is remote the client would like someone that can report to the office a few days a month.
The Sr. HR Information Systems Analyst will be a vital member of the HRIS team, providing technical support across a range of HR applications that span the full employee lifecycle. This role collaborates closely with end-users and content owners to gather business requirements, optimize system workflows, and recommend enhancements to key stakeholders within the Workday platform. The analyst will also play a key role in supporting HR systems and fulfilling data and reporting needs for local HR teams, employees, and multiple subsidiaries.
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience managing Workday reporting and analytics.
- Expertise in data analysis, including creating custom dashboards and reports in Workday.
- Strong understanding of HR processes; Workday Payroll and General Ledger (GL) file feed experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and error troubleshooting; Workday Pro Certification is a plus.
- Results-driven with a sense of urgency and creativity in solving business challenges.

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
HRIS System Management:
- Maintain accurate employee data, support routine data audits, and manage scheduled system tasks.
- Lead and support system enhancements, seasonal updates, and functional area changes with minimal business disruption.
- Serve as the technical point of contact, producing how-to guides and training materials as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues, manage incoming requests, and support employees via our ticketing platform.
Data Reporting:
- Design, build and maintain dashboards, recurring and ad hoc reports to provide data critical to leadership and business partners.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance on GL reporting and ensure accuracy of third-party vendor data feeds.
- Collaborate on system-wide data initiatives and ensure data integrity and consistency.
General Data & Analytical Support:
- Promote and support Workday adoption across the company and within People & Culture programs (eg, Performance, Compensation, Reporting & Dashboards).
- Form strong partnerships by seeking information, understanding needs, and leveraging solutions within Workday to support the business.
- Participate in system design, testing, and configuration efforts to support evolving business needs.
- Develop and own metrics dashboards and reporting tools that inform HR and business strategy.
- Document and improve data processes, business requirements, and recommendations.
