The HRIS & People Analytics Senior Analyst serves a key technical and analytical resource for the People Team, responsible for system administration, configuration, and optimization of UKG platforms (UKG Pro and UKG Ready). This role partners across departments to improve business processes, support integrations, and deliver actionable insights through data and reporting. The analyst also manages system enhancements, compliance reporting, and supports broader analytics initiatives to inform strategic workforce decisions.
Essential Job Functions will include:
- Manage system configuration, maintenance, integrations, and day-to-day support for HRIS function.
- Lead systems upgrades, new module implementations/rollouts, and continuous optimization of HR technology to align with evolving business needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort and enhance data quality across the People function.
- Function as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure accurate, secure, and seamless data flow between systems, including UKG Pro, UKG Ready, Greenhouse, Optavise, ApexConnect, and EmpInfo.
- Design and maintain reports and dashboards using UKG Business Intelligence (Cognos), delivering insights on key workforce metrics such as engagement, retention, and performance.
- Collaborate with business leaders and the People Team to define metrics, support workforce planning, and drive data-informed decision making.
- Manage a centralized reporting calendar and fulfill recurring and ad hoc reporting needs across departments; track requests, ensure quality, and maintain service-level expectations.
- Oversee compliance with reporting requirements (e.g., EEO-1, CA Pay Data), ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Maintain system documentation and training materials to support adoption, consistency, and operational continuity.
- Develop and manage a data dictionary, reporting inventory, and file integration inventory to promote data integrity and system transparency.
- Perform regular audits and validation routines to ensure data accuracy across all HR systems.
- Partner with the Rewards team to prepare and validate data for annual compensation statements, pay increases, promotions, etc.
- Support employee-facing technology rollouts and ensure effective integration with internal platforms such as the company intranet.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to support technology-driven initiatives and HR operations.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution and support.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-8 years of HRIS and people analytic experience, with hands-on experience in UKG Pro and UKG Business Intelligence (Cognos).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across functional teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule:
This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal clients' needs.
