Senior Hardware Emulation Engineer Acceler8 Talent is seeking a
Senior Hardware Emulation Engineer to join a dynamic team of experts in silicon and distributed systems. You will be part of an innovative initiative aimed at revolutionizing the performance and scalability of next-generation distributed computing products. This role offers a unique opportunity to tackle some of the most intricate infrastructure challenges in the industry.
The successful candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in large-scale emulation environments specifically tailored for networking and computing chips. In this role, you will handle vital areas such as chip-level emulation models, build infrastructure, and automation tools. Collaborating closely with simulation, firmware, and software teams will be crucial to effectively validate silicon pre-production, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality products. Familiarity with emulators such as Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce is essential, as well as a profound understanding of simulation-based verification workflows. This position may be a perfect fit if you have:
- Experience with emulation tools including Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce.
- A robust background in emulation compile flow, wave dump & triggers, waveform debugging, and executing tests.
- Proficient scripting skills in Perl or Python.
- Exposure to Makefile, Bazel or other build systems.
- Experience with waveform debugging tools such as Verdi, SimVision, or Indago.
- A solid understanding of Verilog and SystemVerilog RTL design.
- Familiarity with synthesizable SystemVerilog/Verilog code and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVAs).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- A Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
This role is primarily based in the Bay Area and may offer remote flexibility for exceptional candidates.
