Senior Hardware Emulation Engineer

Acceler8 Talent is seeking a Senior Hardware Emulation Engineer to join a dynamic team of experts in silicon and distributed systems. You will be part of an innovative initiative aimed at revolutionizing the performance and scalability of next-generation distributed computing products. This role offers a unique opportunity to tackle some of the most intricate infrastructure challenges in the industry.

The successful candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in large-scale emulation environments specifically tailored for networking and computing chips. In this role, you will handle vital areas such as chip-level emulation models, build infrastructure, and automation tools. Collaborating closely with simulation, firmware, and software teams will be crucial to effectively validate silicon pre-production, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality products. Familiarity with emulators such as Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce is essential, as well as a profound understanding of simulation-based verification workflows. We are looking for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and are eager to grow with our high-performing team.

This position may be a perfect fit if you have:
  • Experience with emulation tools including Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce.
  • A robust background in emulation compile flow, wave dump & triggers, waveform debugging, and executing tests.
  • Proficient scripting skills in Perl or Python.
  • Exposure to Makefile, Bazel or other build systems.
  • Experience with waveform debugging tools such as Verdi, SimVision, or Indago.
  • A solid understanding of Verilog and SystemVerilog RTL design.
  • Familiarity with synthesizable SystemVerilog/Verilog code and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVAs).
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • A Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
This role is primarily based in the Bay Area and may offer remote flexibility for exceptional candidates.
