As a Senior Graphics Software Engineer, you'll be at the cutting edge of technology, developing essential training systems including the CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. You will craft real-time, three-dimensional graphics systems such as submarine periscope and bridge simulations and ship weapon systems. These innovative visual simulations are utilized extensively throughout the US Navy, enhancing training and operational readiness. All software development takes place in a Linux environment using C and OpenGL, with the aid of the Unreal graphics engine and various software packages.

Required Education & Experience - Education: B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Citizenship: U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required upon employment).
- Skills: Minimum of 10 years of experience in C application development. At least 8 years focused on Game/3D Simulation programming, 3D graphics development, or related visual simulation systems. Proficient in utilizing a graphics engine, such as Unreal or OpenSceneGraph. Minimum of 1 year developing software under Linux.
Preferred Experience - Education: Advanced degree, ongoing education, or a strong math/physics background.
- Skills: Understanding of CPU/GPU hardware, high performance computing, hardware architecture related to C , PCI Bus, CPU, GPU, and RAM optimization. Experience with Virtual Reality headset development. Familiarity with GLSL or HLSL. Knowledge of OpenGL, Vulkan or similar APIs.
- Tools: Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, OpenSceneGraph or VulkanSceneGraph engines, and profiling tools like Nvidia Nsight.
Bonus Experience - Tools: Familiarity with 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, or similar modeling software.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
