The Graphic Designer III (Senior Graphic Designer) is responsible for partnering with MOM's CBO to design in-store campaigns, marketing materials, and corporate designs. Implement design concepts and space planning for new store openings with the CBO; this includes coordination with vendors and oversight of logistics and installation. This position is located in-office 4 days a week (with 1 day remote) at our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD). Travel is required for store visits as needed.
- Creates concepts and pitches ideas independently for approval by CBO/CEO for Campaigns, Design, edit, and manage Print Your Own (PYO) signs - based on requests and store needs.
- Manage design process to ensure the store opening signage and store revamp signage will meet the deadline.
- Design permanent and temporary exterior store signage.
- Coordinate campaigns - concept and design signage and graphics, order from vendors, build wordpress pages and coordinate with in store sign coordinators.
- Design and update labels for MOM's private label products.
- Design graphics for social media pages.
- Design and maintain graphics for the company website.
- Manage in store sign coordinator program.
- Work with vendors to ensure that the set deadlines are met.
- Coordinate production and troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer.
- Collaborate with departments for new store openings and projects to ensure a smooth process.
- Consistently communicate with teams at Stores and CSS through various communication channels.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
- 5-7 years related design experience
- A solid understanding and demonstration of user-centered design principles
- A compelling portfolio of distinctive work showing a breadth of experience: branding, ideation, social, websites, UI/UX, print
- Able to develop simple and elegant design solutions to complex design problems
- Proven ability to uphold brand and style guidelines
- Strong leadership and communication
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite (most importantly: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and MAC operating systems
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills; expertise in cross-functional collaboration
- Willingness to experiment, comfortable trying new things, and not afraid to fail
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize work and manage a workload
- Take ownership and pride in your work, with careful attention to all details both in creative production and management of the work
- Have the ability to problem solve and self-teach new technologies
- Be a team player that can work easily in both large team environments, or independently.

The hiring range for this position is $76,000 - $88,000. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications and competencies.
