Position Summary
Visual storytelling shapes how people engage with healthcare, and as a Senior Graphic Designer at Empower, you will lead this transformation. Your work will bring complex pharmaceutical concepts to life through compelling visuals that connect patients, providers, and industry leaders. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Creates and executes compelling, brand-aligned visual assets across digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact in all marketing, sales, and corporate communication materials.
  • Leads the conceptualization and development of high-quality creative solutions that effectively translate complex pharmaceutical and healthcare information into engaging and accessible visuals, enhancing audience understanding and trust.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, compliance, product development, and sales, to align creative strategies with business objectives while ensuring adherence to regulatory and brand guidelines.
  • Manages multiple design projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and proactively solving challenges to support the organization's mission of expanding access to quality, affordable medication.
  • Drives innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, leveraging emerging design technologies, and continuously refining creative processes to elevate brand presence, improve user engagement, and maximize the impact of visual storytelling.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong creative vision, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively translate complex ideas into visually compelling designs that align with business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding, with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), knowledge of web design, user interface/user
  • experience principles, digital content creation, and the ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance design efficiency, automation, and creative execution.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of leading creative projects, developing impactful visual assets, and collaborating cross-functionally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related field, with preference given to candidates with additional coursework in user experience design, branding, or digital media.
  • Advanced certifications are preferred.
