Towne Insurance is hiring a Senior Graphic and Multimedia Designer. This role will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of all designs used to promote Towne Insurance, including but not limited to advertising, print collateral, digital media, video, and animation.

About the Role

As the Senior Graphic and Multimedia Designer, you will report to the Executive Marketing Officer and will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of all designs used to promote Towne Insurance, including but not limited to advertising, print collateral, digital media, video, and animation. You will uphold the Towne Insurance value proposition through internal and external designs, for a wide range of projects while maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring consistency of the Towne Brand.
  • Formulate creative concepts, producing new and original designs from scratch based on needs and brand image to produce visual communications.
  • Use proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to create a variety of marketing pieces for Towne Insurance, including brochures, flyers, pamphlets, program and sponsor ads, presentation packages, banners, etc.
  • Execute design and layout for digital applications such as landing pages, email templates, etc.
  • Invent and develop new marketing ideas for print, social media, and advertising campaigns that keep current with industry trends and technology.
  • Utilize digital effects and animations for various media formats whenever possible, contributing to a cohesive visual language through animated branding assets.
  • Craft visually compelling motion content to elevate brand storytelling across digital platforms.
  • Support video production with seamless animation and post-production integration.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department and business partners to ensure that the content and design of all logos, promotional items, illustrations, photography, web pages, editorials, advertisements, video productions and animation maintain Towne brand consistency, visual style and design standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership on designing and implementing all marketing materials used in company or individual presentations.
  • Utilize standard industry methodology to prepare items for final media output in print, web and video.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to select appropriate materials to achieve desired print quality.
  • Collaborate with Compliance to ensure that all outgoing graphics and marketing materials adhere to government standards.
  • Communicate clearly with vendors, and provide critical details to ensure final product is aligned with the project specifications, including size, color, materials, timeline, etc.
  • Be familiar with, and provide input as requested, on projects managed by media buyers.
  • Develop creative concepts for of special projects (Sales Summit, State of the Agency, corporate events)
  • Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials, and special fonts, which are needed for record keeping and referencing.
  • Review and approve any marketing materials developed by team members.
  • Obey all applicable federal laws, rules and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
    Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned tasks and tickets for internal and external marketing projects using Service Now
  • Report to management about the current workflow and communicate any possible issues, such as workload, timelines, or resource needs
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and experience you'll need:
  • BA in Graphic Design
  • 10 years of graphic design experience
  • Advanced graphic design, layout, and typography skills for print and web
  • Exceptional creativity
  • Advanced knowledge of image manipulation, print production, pre-press/production, and Web Design standards
  • Strong knowledge of corporate branding, digital media and color theory
    Advanced knowledge and experience working with:
  • Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign CC, Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, After Effects CC, Premiere Pro CC
  • Microsoft Office
  • Mac OSX
  • Web Graphics
  • Vector Imaging
  • Color separations
  • Pantone Color matching
  • Paper Products
  • Ability to learn new programs and stay current on design technology
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility as demands and priorities change
  • Able to work independently, under deadline, to meet established goals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Professional services/insurance experience/knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience in advertising, marketing and management
