Converse Consultants is seeking candidates for a full-time Geotechnical Senior Staff Geologist/Engineer position for its State College, PA office. The Senior Staff Geologist/Engineer is expected to have experience with management and related geotechnical skills.
Qualifications
Experience will include:
- Geotechnical project experience (mandatory)
- general project management
- performing geotechnical site investigations
- geotechnical report writing
- excellent writing and communication skills
- knowledge of construction
- additional skills related to soil and rock laboratory testing
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in geology, geotechnical engineering, or soil mechanics.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a good driving record that is acceptable to our company insurance carrier.
- Minimum of 5 years geotechnical consulting experience,
- Knowledge of the regulations and standards, and the ability to work independently.
