Their team manages a diverse portfolio across private equity, real assets, and alternative investments. They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Fund Accountant with hands-on Investran experience to join their finance team.

Role Overview:


The Fund Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and reporting for a portfolio of investment funds. This position requires a strong understanding of fund structures, capital activity, and investment accounting, with particular emphasis on working within the Investran platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private funds.
  • Record and reconcile capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest.
  • Maintain general ledger and investor allocations in Investran.
  • Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Assist with annual audits, tax reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Support performance reporting and investor reporting processes.
  • Drive process improvements and help optimize use of Investran functionalities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA a plus).
  • 1-5 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments.
  • Strong proficiency in Investran is required.
  • Solid understanding of partnership accounting and fund structures.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with additional reporting tools is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
