As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Capital One, you'll lead diverse technology projects while guiding a team of developers with extensive experience in distributed microservices. Together, you will design and deliver solutions to meet the company's regulatory requirements and enhance customer experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead a team of engineers to successfully deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions to achieve their financial goals.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and actively participate in internal and external tech communities.
- Mentor and support fellow engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Utilize a variety of programming languages and tools, including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as container orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (excludes internship experience)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree
- 7+ years working with Java, Golang, JavaScript, SQL, or Python
- 3+ years in AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services
- 4+ years experience in open source frameworks
- 1+ years in a people management role
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
This position is located at Capital One. We offer a competitive salary range of $175,800 to $200,700 for this role. Additionally, you could be eligible for performance-based bonuses and other benefits designed to support your overall well-being.
