Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead diverse technology projects and mentor a talented team of developers specializing in distributed microservices and full stack systems, focusing on solutions that fulfill regulatory requirements.
  • Stay ahead of tech trends, explore new technologies, and actively participate in both internal and external tech communities.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to develop robust, cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and empower Americans financially.
  • Utilize a breadth of programming languages and tools including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, various databases, and AWS services.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering (internship experience not included)
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
  • 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks
  • 1+ years of experience in people management
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies

The salary range for this position is $175,800 - $200,700. This range applies primarily to the Richmond, VA area, and may vary based on the candidate's location. In addition, this role is eligible for performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives.
