As a member of the Capital One Auto Servicing CTDR team, you will focus on cyber initiatives, manage open vulnerabilities, and spearhead technical innovation. Your work will provide essential solutions and guidance to servicing experience teams, and you'll collaborate with auto servicing tech teams to address vulnerabilities.
Your Responsibilities: - Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects, managing a team of skilled developers specialized in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to develop solutions that adhere to regulatory standards.
- Stay ahead of technology trends, explore and adopt new technologies, contribute to both internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
- Utilize a variety of programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, and an array of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).
- 1+ year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services.
- 4+ years of experience in utilizing open source frameworks.
- 1+ years of people management experience.
- 2+ years of experience implementing Agile practices.

The anticipated annual salary range for this role is $175,800 - $200,700. This range applies specifically to candidates in Plano, TX, with varying compensation based on location for other candidates. Your offer letter will reflect the final salary amount.
This position is also eligible for performance-based compensation, including potential cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
