About Our Team: Enterprise Platforms Technology (EPTech) encompasses essential enterprise platforms at Capital One. We are committed to establishing best practices for technology solutions across the organization while delivering capabilities that reflect these practices.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a diverse range of technology projects with a skilled team of developers, leveraging expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to craft solutions that address regulatory requirements.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, engaging in community discussions, and mentoring fellow engineers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that provide transformative experiences, helping millions of Americans achieve financial improvement.
- Utilize your proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, while working with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside a variety of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies

The expected salary range for this role is $175,800 - $200,700. This salary information is for candidates hired to perform work within specific locations, including Plano, TX. Candidates for other locations will be presented with salary offers based on local pay scales.
