What You'll Do: - Lead diverse technology projects and guide a team of skilled developers to create impactful solutions addressing regulatory requirements.
- Engage with the latest tech trends, explore and adopt new technologies, contribute to community discussions, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver powerful, cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
- Leverage programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with databases and AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering (note: internship experience does not count).
- 1+ year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience with at least one programming language: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another similar cloud service.
- 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- 1+ year of experience in people management.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, based on location. Please note that this salary information applies only to candidates hired for work within those locations, referring to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.
McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700 for Senior Full Stack Software Engineer.
Candidates hired in other locations will be subject to the associated pay range, with the actual salary offered at the time of hire documented in the candidate's offer letter.
This position is also eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
