About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You'll build and ship robust features from the ground up, contributing directly to our backend services in Python and our frontend in React. You'll work with product and leadership to shape the roadmap and build scalable, maintainable systems.
What You'll Do
• Build and Evolve the Product: Take ownership of key parts of our platform-including the web app, APIs, email services, and supporting infrastructure-with a focus on delivering product features that directly impact users. This includes integrating AI capabilities where appropriate.
• Understand the User and the Industry: Develop insight into our users, their workflows, and the investment industry to ensure the product delivers meaningful value and stays aligned with evolving needs.
• Evaluate Tools & Technologies: Identify and adopt frameworks, libraries, or services that improve performance, scalability, or team efficiency.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and leadership to define solutions, participate in code reviews, and align implementation with business goals.
• Contribute to Team Growth: Mentor other engineers, promote best practices, and help elevate engineering quality and team culture.
• Own Projects End-to-End: Lead initiatives from scoping through deployment and iteration, ensuring they are reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time.
Who We Are Looking For
• Experience: 6+ years of engineering experience in full-stack development.
• Back-End Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and associated web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Front-End Skills: Strong proficiency in React and front-end technologies. (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS). Experience with HTMX is a plus.
• Database Knowledge: Experience in database design, modeling, and SQL.
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS.
• API & Architecture: Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Position Location: Charlotte. We are hybrid (in office Tuesday-Thursday).
