Senior Full Stack Development Engineers who are excited about combining data with cutting-edge technologies. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in leading significant transformations within Capital One.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Leading a variety of technology projects and overseeing a talented team of developers proficient in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
- Developing innovative solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Staying updated on technology trends, experimenting with new tools, and engaging in technology communities.
- Mentoring fellow engineers and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Collaborating with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans towards financial independence.
- Utilizing programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Working with various AWS tools and services to enhance development processes.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies

This role is based in our office located at Plano, TX: $175,800 - $200,700 for the position. Compensation includes performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package that supports your overall well-being.
