Senior Frontend Developer

Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000

About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our web applications, with opportunities to design and implement visualizations and interactions for AI-powered features. You will work closely with UX designers and backend engineers to translate designs and requirements into high-quality code. A passion for creating exceptional user experiences, expertise in modern frontend technologies, and an interest in presenting complex data or AI model outputs is key.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), ensuring responsiveness and performance.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use, including potentially components for visualizing AI-related data or model results.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences, integrating with backend APIs that may provide AI-generated content or data.
  • Implement data visualizations and interactive elements to effectively communicate insights or model outputs to users.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior frontend developers.
  • Advocate for best practices in frontend development and user experience.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and working with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) is a plus.
  • Understanding of how to present and interact with data or results from AI models in a user-friendly interface is beneficial.
