What You'll Do: - Collaborate with a team of skilled developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
- Engage in Front End application development utilizing a test-driven approach.
- Take ownership of the technical design and development for cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Stay ahead of technology trends, experiment with new tools, and actively mentor fellow engineers.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
- Utilize languages and frameworks including Angular, React, Node, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java along with RESTful web services, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internships not included).
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: React, Angular, Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience in a people management role.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
This role is located in Chicago, IL, with a salary range of $175,800 - $200,700 for the Lead Software Engineer position. The compensation package may also include performance-based incentives.
