TIAG is now hiring a
Front-End Developer to join our team in support of an exciting DoD human performance platform product support initiative. The candidate should reside in the greater Northern, VA region and can work primarily remotely as part of a geographically dispersed team. This position will require a government security clearance to be processed, so US or Naturalized Citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
TIAG is partnered with CoachMePlus, a leading provider of human performance (i.e. athlete) management platform technology, to deliver that capability to the Department of Defense (DoD). We are actively working with multiple DoD organizations to demonstrate and field the platform for evaluation and operational use. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is proficient in web and mobile application development in a team environment. The ability to periodically travel to the team HQ in Buffalo, NY is a benefit but not required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain various aspects of the web application and internal infrastructure, with a focus on front-end web and mobile platform development.
- Organize work plans, estimate tasks, and deliver finished projects to meet important deadlines.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide assistance to other developers, sales staff and customers.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to various technical, non-technical, and athletic audiences.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required
- 5+ years front-end development experience
- JavaScript ES6
- React, Jest
- HTML5, JSON, CSS3, Flexbox
- PHP (Object-Oriented Programming)
- Code versioning with Git
- Experience using a design framework to implement front end requirements
- Ability to build UI from requirements without strict wireframe mockups
- Ability to test and review the code of your peers
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with human performance or fitness-related technologies
- Experience refactoring a system to use modern front-end tools and languages
- Polymer 1 / Web Components
- Relational Databases
- Linux, Scripting Tools
- PHP Frameworks, PHP Package Managers
- Native Mobile Development

Pay Range: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
