The selected candidate will be key in advising on Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, munitions licensing, disclosure agreements, and overall security assistance activities. This position is contingent upon final contract award. Key Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise on international affairs and national security policy. Support and advise on Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, including compliance and execution. Offer guidance on munitions licensing and ensure adherence to relevant regulations. Provide expert knowledge on disclosure agreements, including associated rules and procedures. Assist in policy preparation, strategic planning, and analytical services related to security assistance. Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies and international partners, to ensure effective security cooperation. Maintain and update databases related to Army security cooperation and assistance programs. Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for Army senior leadership and government officials. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. However, this requirement may be waived if the candidate possesses at least ten (10) years of applied security assistance experience while serving as a uniformed member of the armed forces or as a U.S. government employee. Experience: Minimum offour (4) years of experience in international affairs and/or national security policy. Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process. Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of munitions licensing and the governing rules. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the rules and procedures associated with disclosure agreements. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with government and industry partners. Clearance: Secret required Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting government contracts within the defense sector. Familiarity with U.S. security cooperation policies and procedures. Experience working with DoD agencies, Army programs, or international security cooperation initiatives.
