Are you seeking an exciting career in Federal law enforcement? Ruchman and Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Financial Investigator (SFI) to support forfeiture related tasks at the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS). The DCIS is a federal law enforcement organization whose mission is to protect America's warfighters by conducting investigations in support of crucial National Defense priorities involving fraud, waste, and abuse. As a SFI, you will provide support to DCIS agents in the forfeiture-related aspects of their investigations, and not general investigative activity. This support may require travel; extensive consultation with the case agent and prosecutor(s); analysis of voluminous business, financial, and other records; and complex link analysis of events and records. You will assist DCIS agents to utilize asset forfeiture sanctions in investigations. This assistance includes reviewing; processing; and analyzing, records, and observations in conjunction with DCIS criminal investigators and investigative analysts. In addition, you may prepare the necessary information for presentation of the facts to the United States Attorney's Office so that seizure warrants can be obtained. Qualified candidates must possess:
• Bachelor's Degree of any discipline
• A minimum of ten (10) years of law enforcement experience with planning, conducting, and participating in complex financial investigations
• A minimum of five (5) years in a specialized area of expertise such as Forfeiture, Organized Crime, White Collar Crime, Fraud, Drug, Money Laundering, or similar area of criminal activity is required.
