Our client, a national leader in environmental services, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support critical capital planning and risk mitigation efforts across their enterprise. In this highly visible role, you'll contribute to a robust $8B debt portfolio, optimize capital structure strategy, and help lead initiatives that directly impact shareholder value.

Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in executing strategic financial initiatives, including debt and equity planning, hedging programs, and share repurchase execution. This role demands a proactive problem-solver with excellent attention to detail and comfort working cross-functionally with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of an $8B debt portfolio by modeling refinancing scenarios and recommending financing opportunities
- Analyze and execute the company's share repurchase program, including performance tracking and reporting
- Help manage financial risk through hedging strategies for interest rate and fuel cost exposure
- Develop models to forecast future cash flow, liquidity, interest expense, and optimal capital structure
- Prepare detailed reporting for quarterly board meetings, bank covenant compliance, and rating agency presentations
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure hedging transactions meet accounting standards
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports for senior management and external reporting needs
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions and capital strategy
- Serve as a backup for select Treasury Operations functions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, or FP&A
- Minimum of 2 years of complex financial modeling experience
- Proven ability to draw insights from data and anticipate financial risks or opportunities
- Strong understanding of capital structure, forecasting, and credit rating metrics
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
