We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of its enterprise finance team who has a natural desire to improve and build new processes in a fast-growing startup culture. This position will support the financial and business planning activities of our Orthodontic Business Unit with hands-on forecasting, budgeting, analysis, data management and reporting. The position is based out of the Nashville HQ and reports to the FP&A Director of Orthodontics.


We are looking for a hands-on financial management professional, comfortable playing a lead role in the management, reporting, and analysis of their business unit throughout the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Supports the preparation of the monthly operating review package and communication to practice
  • Aids in enhancing financial literacy with practice level practice managers and doctors
  • Reports, tracks, and monitors financial metrics and assists in identifying abnormalities relative to practice production
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis to aid in decision support interfacing with various departments throughout the enterprise
  • Contribute to the completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated, and timely
  • Understand and apply knowledge of best practices for data extraction and manipulation

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years progressive experience
  • Transaction Advisory experience preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Ability to positively manage change and multiple priorities in response to shifting demands
  • Experience working with data mining and reporting tools (SQL, Excel, PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of GAAP and all aspects of general accrual and cost accounting
  • Highly driven and self-motivated with keen attention to detail and organized
  • Must be able to commute to office in Nashville, TN 3 days per week.
