Sr. Analyst, Finance - Residential Business Unit (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Finance to join a dynamic team in the access solutions industry. This role will involve providing financial decision support to the Sales & Marketing organization, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to strategic financial forecasting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in financial analysis within a business unit and a strong background in accounting or finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales & Marketing teams to provide financial decision support and participate in sales and marketing meetings.
- Conduct regular financial performance and forecast reviews, ensuring the accuracy of financial results and forecasts.
- Drive compliance with policies and controls and ensure appropriate judgments and estimates are made in monthly accruals.
- Analyze Business Unit performance, including variance analysis, volume-price-mix, gross-to-net revenue, margin walks, and profitability of discount programs.
- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers on pricing, promotions, returns, and related trends to inform their budgets and forecasts.
- Support new product development initiatives by maintaining financial business cases, tracking costs, and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Develop queries and analysis tools to support business analytics and act as a first-line support resource for finance-related questions within the Business Unit.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and assist with business process documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with health and safety guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a financial analysis role within a business unit.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and experience with ERP systems, data warehouse queries, and planning tools.
- Other: Ability to travel up to 5% within North America.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education/Certifications: MBA, CMA, or CPA.
- Experience: Direct experience working with Sales & Marketing and Business Unit Leaders.
- Skills: Proficiency with SAP, BI, and BPC.

Compensation range depending on experience is $100,000-$115,000
