Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, position that combines the convenience of remote work with the collaborative spirit of on-site interaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) management. This role is critical to the company's financial future and will play a key role in driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the company.
2. Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine present and future performance.
4. Document and monitor internal controls, ensuring the highest level of compliance.
5. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
6. Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies.
7. Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
8. Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
9. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
10. Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. A CPA or Master's Degree is preferred.
3. Prior experience in an FP&A Management role in the Manufacturing industry.
4. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
5. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
6. Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
7. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
8. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
9. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
