A well-established company in a regulated sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join its finance team. With a direct path to Finance Manager, this role plays a critical part in financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the organization, with a focus on liquidity, capital planning, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for short- and long-term planning, including support for debt and equity financing needs
  • Monitor cash positions and manage investments in accordance with company and compliance guidelines
  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making
  • Develop periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and external parties
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and performance variance assessments
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to forecast and track operating and capital budgets
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness in financial data used for strategic reporting
  • Participate in special projects aimed at improving process efficiency and financial visibility
  • Document financial procedures and support team training as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, forecasting, or budgeting
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; advanced modeling and presentation capabilities
  • Exposure to large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Experience in regulated or capital-intensive industries is a plus
  • Solid analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently on multi-step projects with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication skills-able to translate financial insights into clear narratives
