About the Opportunity:
We're working with a major technical consulting firm to hire a Senior Manager of Financial Strategy & Operations to oversee and drive the financial performance of multiple professional service lines. This role will serve as the right hand to executive leadership, shaping strategy through dynamic pricing, forecasting, and portfolio-level insights across engineering disciplines such as systems & software, grid modernization, mechanical/electrical design, clinical/lab services, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the financial business partner to practice leads, owning all FP&A activities across multiple service lines.
- Develop and refine strategic pricing models and program-level forecasts to drive profitability and growth.
- Lead the monthly performance reviews, presenting financial insights to practice and executive leadership.
- Establish and maintain KPIs to track performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with Contracts, Delivery, PMO, and Risk to ensure financial success from bid to execution.
- Support RFPs and proposals with margin modeling, rate structures, and win strategy alignment.
- Identify growth opportunities using market data, internal trends, and client analysis.
- Continuously improve forecasting tools, modeling techniques, and portfolio analytics.
- Lead risk mitigation strategies including commercial terms, insurance issues, and AR resolution.
- Directly manage and mentor Financial Operations Managers, Analysts, and Coordinators, building internal leadership capacity.
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in financial operations, pricing, or strategy within a services-based organization, ideally in engineering or scientific consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Mastery of financial modeling, business planning, and profitability analysis.
- Deep understanding of project accounting, utilization metrics, and indirect cost structures.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with senior leadership.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Strong command of Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools.
