Senior Finance Manager

Our reputable client is seeking a FP& A Manager to join the company. The ideal candidate will have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. Your responsibilities in this role - Supervise and oversee the operations of the financial planning team - Aid with financial deliverables for the executive team - Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle - Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts - Support regulatory filings - Arrange financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis - Collaborate in cross-functional development teams to improve strategic issues - Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis - Execute financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions - Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions - Test fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans - Contribute to financial analysis support for forecasting and corporate budgeting processes - Oversee the employee hiring process, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required - 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience - MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus - Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills - Must be excellent at communicating and building relationships - 8+ years of experience in FP& A required - Exceptional business acumen - Exceptional qualitative and quantitative skills - Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages - Proficient in analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
