Our client is a growing real estate developer in the Data Center space is looking for a Senior Financial Associate to help their growing finance team. This person will add immediate value to the firm and will grow their career in a rapid-growth industry.


This exciting role works in tandem with the company Controller and the overseas executives for the company, so they must have top communication skills and smarts. Someone from a real estate private equity firm and/or working in real estate finance is ideal. Position is 5 days in the DC office, perks for parking and metro assistance. Lunch brought into the office. Applicants will be required to take an excel modeling test on pivot tables, formulas and other complexities after the first round of interviews. The company is doing very well, lots of projects in the pipeline internationally and in the US.


Sr. Finance Associate


The Senior Finance Associate will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Fund Controller US and be responsible for the financial analysis and reporting of the company's global fund entities to current and prospective investors. The ideal candidate, possessing experience in private equity funds and/or real estate finance or FP&A, will manage, create and improve upon financial models that calculate fund, investor and asset time-weighted returns, asset yields, and other metrics used by the internal management team and current and prospective investors.


What You Get to Do


  • Prepare the quarterly NAV reporting workbooks that generate each of the fund's financial statements, NAVs, partner capital accounts and statements and work with the funds' administrator to reconcile differences
  • Model and provide return data and other metrics for the parent company assets, investors and real estate fund entities
  • Update quarterly models to calculate and provide metrics and other reporting data for quarterly reports
  • Work alongside investor relations group to provide return and yield data to current and prospective investors, as well as support investor due diligence
  • Assist in responding to investor queries and periodic data requests
  • Support ongoing financing/refinancing activity and calculate covenant metrics

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess

  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience including Private Equity or M&A Advisory or finance from a prominent investment bank or real estate firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative subject
