Job Title: Senior Finance and Admin Officer

Temp contract until Dec 225

Part-time and Term time (Weds-Fri)

Salary:£162.90 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)

Location:Chelsea (SW10), full time on-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing confidential secretarial service to the Senior Leadership Team, the Finance Team, and other colleagues in the business
  • Managing and maintaining the school's database, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring all data is handled securely in compliance with GDPR regulations
  • Overseeing the accurate recording of all financial transactions. Such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, VAT journals and other financial transactions
  • Preparing financial documents for internal audit with the Business Manager. Such as bank reconciliations, checking VAT as well as Income & Expenditure reports
  • Managing supplier and customer accounts, ensuring all purchase orders and invoices are actioned
  • Conducting relevant School Risk Assessments together with the Site Manager and Business Manager
  • Responsible for placing school resource orders, whilst liaising with the Finance Team regarding budgets
  • Completing any other duties as directed by the Senior Leadership Team

Person Specification:

  • Strong experience working in a School
  • Experience in using school information systems such as, SIMS, Arbor, Access Finance/FMS
  • The candidate must have a Child Enhanced DBS, as well as the paper copy
