Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in all areas of family law, including matrimony, annulments, child custody, matrimonial issues, and child support.
- Manage a caseload of family law matters, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Conduct thorough case research and investigation to support client cases.
- Develop and implement case strategies that align with the client's objectives and the best interests of any children involved.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and excellent customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in family law and attend relevant professional development courses and seminars.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law practice, with a focus on matrimony, annulments, child custody, matrimonial issues, and child support.
- Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large caseload and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the area of family law.
