About the Role
The ideal candidate will be the friendly face of Guinness Open Gate Brewery London, working closely with the Head of Experience. Responsibilities include leading tour guide teams, training, induction, and development.
Work hours will include evenings and weekends, engaging face-to-face with trade representatives, the public, and the beer community.
The candidate will assist the Head of Experience with:
- Managing on-site visitor experiences
- Developing visitor experience content and scripts
- Liaising with the Brewery Operations team to manage beer supplies for experiences
- Coordinating tour schedules and guide shifts
- Training guides to deliver engaging tours
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction during tours
- Managing all Diageo personnel visits, including executive visits, aligning with the Events program
- Managing the Visitor Experience and Events team daily, working with agencies and the Catering Operating Partner regarding temporary staff
Responsibilities
- Embodies the spirit of Guinness and shares this passion
- Hosts events and training sessions to showcase the brewery's beer portfolio
- Delivers tours for VIPs, trade guests, and consumers
- Engages with beer drinkers to build genuine connections
- Uses social media to promote regional brand activities and connect with the beer community
- Builds strong relationships within sales and marketing teams, including brand inductions and innovation presentations
- Supports commercial planning for Diageo beer sales
- Identifies new sales opportunities for Diageo brands
- Follows health and safety guidelines, maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders
- Operates within budget, ensures ROI, and submits T&E claims promptly
