The Mission The Leidos team plays a vital role in the Service, Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program, providing essential cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk support, and data transport. We are committed to modernizing networks to equip Sailors, Marines, and civilian workers with the tools necessary for enhancing naval capabilities.
Your Main Objective - Conduct root cause analysis of critical outages and incidents, formulate permanent solutions, and oversee their implementation; manage life-cycle events for Active Directory network group objects, including:
- Creating and managing new group objects
- Modifying group object attributes
- Changing group object types
- Deactivating and deleting group objects
- Provide expert technical advice and recommendations for critical Exchange & Windows software updates and vulnerability issues; propose mitigation strategies; ensure effective coordination during upgrade activities, enhancing server infrastructure security in relevant roles.
- Develop, enforce, and oversee security policies and procedures for information systems to ensure proper usage; craft domain-level security policies, including authentication mechanisms and password policies; apply security patches and antivirus updates as necessary.
- Collaborate in researching, planning, designing, and evaluating current and future Windows infrastructure needs; lead or assist in the planning, installation, and configuration of Active Directory Network components; oversee necessary updates to software and hardware components to meet client requirements.
- Act as the IT liaison and escalation point for application support and troubleshooting; provide guidance in resolving escalated issues and complex system problems.
- Serve as the primary escalation support for domain technology issues not resolved by tier one and two server support.
- Own and maintain comprehensive system documentation for domain technologies, including installation and configuration, identify improvement opportunities across service delivery, user experience, and security; assist in designing, testing, and implementing computer and network software projects to fulfill user requirements.

Pay Range: Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
