Senior ETL Datastage Developer

Position : ETL Datastage Developer
Location : Culver City, CA
Duration : Fulltime Permanent

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills :

• Industry - Media & Entertainment or/and Consumer Packaged Goods with Retail Execution

• Experience of designing and developing ETL workflows using DataStage

• Experience working with Python.

• Experience working in large DW implementations

• Experience working on Datawarehouse implementations in cloud (Teradata, AWS, Snowflake etc)

• Hands on experience working on AWS will be a plus.

• Good to have hands on experience working on other ETL and reporting tools (Datastage, Python, Business Objects, Tableau etc).

Experience Required:

• Experience in implementing and maintaining large DW solutions.

• Experience on working with large agile teams in an Onshore/Offshore Model

• Experience working with large customer base across the globe with aggressive schedule and expectation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand the customer's business requirements, business processes and system functionality to translate that into technical requirements

• Provide technical leadership to the team and guide them to ensure the deliverables are being worked on correctly.

• Should be able to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple assignments simultaneously and have the ability to coordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups

• Strong familiarity with the data being populated in the new models to assist with quality assurance and serve as the subject matter expert.

• Help in testing the dashboard and reports to ensure these are meeting the business needs
