Optomi, in partnership with a leading pediatric healthcare provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is seeking a Senior ERP Finance Analyst with deep expertise in Workday Finance to join their growing enterprise applications team. This organization is committed to delivering excellence in care, and the Workday platform plays a crucial role in supporting the financial and operational health of the institution.


As a key team member, you will help drive process improvements, reduce manual workarounds, and complete prior implementations with a focus on optimization and long-term scalability. This is a hybrid role based in Fort Worth, TX, with onsite presence required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.


Experience of the Right Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior ERP finance role, with hands-on involvement in system administration, support, and enhancement.
  • Proven expertise in Workday Financials, with familiarity working alongside Workday HCM modules such as:
  • Core HCM
  • Compensation & Advanced Compensation
  • Talent & Performance
  • Recruiting
  • Payroll, Benefits, Absence
  • Exposure to Strata (budgeting) and Lucernix (lease and cost accounting) systems.
  • Experience working within cross-functional business units including finance, HR, payroll, legal, AP, and supply chain.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate

System Configuration & Customization (25%)

  • Configure and tailor Workday Financial modules to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Set up workflows, system parameters, security roles, and data structures.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems (e.g., Strata, Lucernix).
  • Follow standardized change control and release management protocols.

System Support & Troubleshooting (25%)

  • Serve as a senior-level resource for diagnosing and resolving complex technical or performance issues.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively address process inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent system stability.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis (20%)

  • Conduct business process reviews and stakeholder interviews to gather clear, actionable requirements.
  • Translate requirements into functional/technical documentation for system changes or enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvements.

Project Support (20%)

  • Contribute to Workday Financials and broader IS project lifecycles including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide ERP insights to projects involving data integrations or process updates that impact finance systems.

Security & Compliance (10%)

  • Manage user access roles and security settings.
  • Conduct regular system audits and enforce compliance with relevant data protection and operational integrity standards.
