We are actively seeking a dedicated Enterprise Architect to enhance the capabilities of the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center's Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division.

The SE&I Division serves as the core for systems engineering and enterprise architecture, acting as the technical authority for NC3 within the Department of Defense. Collaborating with engineering teams, product owners, and key stakeholders, you will ensure the successful delivery of engineering and architecture artifacts that meet our government customer's stringent requirements.
Primary Responsibilities - Be a vital member of the NEC team, focusing on the modification, upgrade, evolution, and modernization of current Nuclear C3 systems.
- Develop and maintain architecture products that depict the system and operational views of the Nuclear C3 system-of-systems.
- Create and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system-of-systems architecture products.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the government for enhancing NC3 capabilities.
- Collaborate with other architects and subject matter experts to facilitate data-driven decision-making for the NC3 Enterprise.
- Integrate architecture artifacts into informative presentations designed to assist senior leadership in decision-making processes.
Basic Qualifications - Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- One or more of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- TOGAF certification.
- DoDAF certification.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in:
- Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM).
- Digital Mission Engineering Environment or Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- Systems modeling language.
- Creating architecture artifacts in line with industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with the operations and technical characteristics of military satellite and terrestrial communication systems.
- Experience in conducting trade-off analysis in architecture and engineering design for systems-of-systems.
- Prior interaction with senior stakeholders from the Nuclear C3 community, including NEC, USSTRATCOM, the Joint Staff, and OSD.
- Expertise in activity, data, and process modeling, with hands-on experience using Enterprise Architecture (EA) development tools like Cameo or SparxEA.
