Summary Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect / Enterprise Architecture Analyst to lead and support the design, development, and governance of enterprise architecture efforts within a federal environment. This position is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in EA frameworks and a passion for driving IT modernization and innovation.
In this role, the architect will be responsible for establishing and evolving a comprehensive EA framework aligned with federal standards such as TOGAF, NIST, and FEA. Responsibilities include documenting architecture across all key domains (business, data, application, technology, security), creating future-state models, and managing the enterprise architecture repository. The position also entails maintaining and prioritizing the EA team backlog, collaborating with federal stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Description :
- Design and develop the EA framework aligned with federal standards (TOGAF, NIST, FEA).
- Document architecture across Business, Information, Data, Application, Technology, and Security domains.
- Create future-state models and maintain the EA repository.
- Evaluate and align IT portfolio for modernization.
- Identify and document hardware and software technology refresh recommendations
- Manage the backlog of the Enterprise Architecture team, working with the Federal Manager to establish priorities and report against progress
- Contribute to performance management framework and continuous improvement.
Required Skills :
- Minimum 7yrs experience utilizing EA Frameworks (TOGAF, FEA), modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate).
- Deep knowledge of cloud architectures and federal IT compliance (FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience designing and implementing low-code/no-code and cloud-based architectures
- Knowledge and experience developing and implementing data management programs
Education, Certification, Clearance - Active DOE Q-clearance or Top Secret
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
