The candidate will possess the ability to work independently in a small multi-disciplinary team utilizing their experience to conduct testing and evaluation services as well as research and development activities. Comfortable in a lab environment utilizing standard and advanced equipment for electrical, optical, or mechanical systems. Ability to interface with technical and non-technical customers to detail work outcomes and final results. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Create and implement test plans for component and system level performance evaluations
Analyze test outcomes to determine performance and identify improvements in testing and system capabilities
Provide expertise in electrical, optical, or mechanical engineering best practices and testing and evaluation efforts
Knowledgeable in basic and advanced engineering concepts such as electronic systems, controls systems, hardware software integration, or
Ability to quickly adapt to new project requirements and quickly implement changes or new capabilities
Qualifications 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
Background in an engineering discipline such as electrical, optical, software or systems with an emphasis on hardware controls, testing and evaluation, or real-time simulations
Experience working with real-time simulations and in hardware centric environments
Familiar with basic and advanced lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, IO devices, spectrum analyzers, power/energy meters, DAQ cards, and sensors
Comfortable with vector calculus concepts and coordinate systems
Familiar with MATLAB, SIMULINK, C/C /C , or Python for test plan development
Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint
Ability to be on-site five days a week
Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
