Job Title: Senior Engineer - Climate Vulnerability
Contract Duration: 1 year
Pay range: Market Rate
Location: 100% REMOTE
Climate Adaptation Vulnerability Assessment:
Overseeing the in-depth study scope for Distribution-related CAVA, overall study schedule, and management for at least 2 in-depth studies.
Distribution, Sub-transmission, and Transmission System Planning experience.
The Senior Engineer will conduct, lead, and support system level, asset level (e.g., Poles, transformers) vulnerability impact and mitigation.
Mitigation includes strengthening infrastructure, creating new ties and capacity, and replacing existing infrastructure.
Required Skills/Attributes:
Bachelor's Degree.
Distribution, Sub-transmission, and Transmission System Planning.
Previous utility system planning experience.
10+ years of system planning experience.
Ability to conduct system planning analysis leading to the identification of needs and mitigations.
PSLF.
CYME or other distribution system planning tools.
Ability to distill technical information for executive-level presentations and updates.
