As a Senior Engineer for Network Security, you will spearhead technology-driven outcomes within the Information Security team and the wider Enterprise. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in technical solution architecture or software engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure services (AWS).
- At least 3 years of experience in network security solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree.
- 7+ years of experience in network and network security solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions based on open-source projects.
- 3+ years of experience in Network Firewall technology.
- 3+ years of experience with Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
- 3+ years of experience in Network Forensics and Packet Capture.
- 3+ years of experience with Network Flow Log Analysis and Segmentation.
- 3+ years of experience with Distributed Denial Of Service (DDoS) mitigation.
- CISSP or SANS certification.
- Cloud computing certification.

The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role are provided below. Salary information reflects amounts Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting and will vary based on true location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated according to agreed hours.

- Richmond, VA: $239,900 - $273,800
- McLean, VA: $263,900 - $301,200
- New York, NY: $287,800 - $328,500
This role is eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
