Responsibilities
The Global Packaging and Global Serialization Program is responsible for providing engineering and technical support for Lilly commercial packaging operations worldwide, that includes asset delivery. Our mission to support Lilly commercial packaging globally is accomplished through a staff of internal Lilly technical experts as well as a leveraged organization of design, construction and qualification contractors. Many of the assets delivered focus on medical innovation and delivering innovative solutions to patients. Some of the assets delivered will support an expansion in supply of existing medicines or making the supply chain more robust.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Project Management: Lead and manage large capital projects ($5MM to $100+MM) consisting of both Lilly and Non-Lilly professionals to safely achieve project objectives from conceptual design through performance qualification and/or process validation. Project objectives are defined by scope, asset capability or capacity, cost, schedule and compliance.
Compliance: Lead with a disciplined, structured approach to project management based on compliance with GFD, Global Packaging and Company Policies and Procedures.
Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for projects. Ensure compliance to safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work rules for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors from conceptual design through operational qualification.
Interface/Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with project team, governance teams, business partners and other stakeholders as the size and complexity of the project may dictate.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
3+ years experience in project management, project delivery, engineering, packaging process engineering, serialization or related fields supporting packaging operations
Experience with packaging equipment, specifications, qualification/validation process, product/package stability, and packaging components
Capital Project Management Experience in packaging facilities
Previous experience on projects >$5+ million
Experience in most of the following disciplines: Automation, construction, construction quality, project controls, the engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling

Will require occasional work in a variety of manufacturing environments; some safety equipment and/or gowning may be required
The primary location for this position will be the Indianapolis Tech Centre South in the U.S. However, applications from other U.S. Lilly sites will also be considered, including North Carolina (Concord and Research Triangle Park) and Wisconsin (Kenosha County).

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$64,500 - $167,200
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
