The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
Enterprise Communications Platform provides uni and bi-directional cross-channel communications and brings an Enterprise and Customer First approach. It encapsulates domain agnostic generic technology functions into Enterprise Shared Services to promote re-usability and consistency across communication journeys. Our platform primarily focuses on fulfillment and delivery of servicing related Customer Communications irrespective of communication channels like Email, Letters, Push Notification, SMS, WhatsApp, Secure Message Center etc.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Perform technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and coding assignments

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required or advanced degree preferred.
Up to 8+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience.
Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
Experience with Java applications design and development in an Enterprise setting using Java, J2EE, node, Spring Boot, Relation DBMSs.
Expertise with HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript Frameworks React and NodeJS
Thorough understanding of XML, SOAP, JSON, web services technologies, and data structure fundamentals, with experience in multi-threaded programming
Experience with Java/J2EE, Vert.x framework, Spring Boot, SQL, DB2 UDB.
Hands on usage with NoSQL databases like Couchbase, Cassandra.
Good understanding on design patterns
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing
RESTful API development experience
Experience with continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins, Maven, XLR, Mockito, SOAPUI, JMeter).
Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on architecture and solution design
Collaborates with leadership across multiple teams to define solution requirements and technical implementation Engineering & Architecture
Demonstrate technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problems
