The Senior Endpoint and Virtual Desktop Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, configuration, and management of endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune. This role includes ensuring the security, compliance, and performance of endpoint devices and Azure Virtual Desktop environments. Providing escalation support for incidents related to these technologies will also be part of the role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in endpoint management, Azure Virtual Desktop, application deployment, and a strong understanding of modern device management practices. They should also have operational knowledge of the other technologies within M365.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Endpoint Management: Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • New Solution Deployment: Lead the design and planning of new technologies or features within the endpoint management space to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security policies and compliance standards for endpoint devices and virtual desktops.
  • Device/Application Configuration: Develop and manage device profiles, configuration policies, and application deployment to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor endpoint and virtual desktop performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide escalation support to Level 1/2 support teams in troubleshooting efforts for endpoint and virtual desktop issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to align endpoint management strategies with organizational goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of endpoint management processes, configurations, and policies.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to IT support staff on endpoint management and Azure Virtual Desktop.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in implementing security policies and compliance standards for endpoint devices and virtual desktops.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for endpoint management and administration.
  • Knowledge of the overall M365 suite of solutions and products.
Wage Range :

The annual starting salary for this position is between $78,750 - $115,500 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
