Senior Embedded Software Engineer with Security Clearance

A Senior Embedded Software Engineer job in Centennial, CO 80112, is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace customers. We are seeking a talented Software Engineering professional to join our exciting team with focus on aerospace embedded systems. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in the engineering field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience within the aerospace industry or other highly regulated industry experience. Secret or TS Clearance preferred Job Duties:
Software requirements decomposition, analysis, definition, and traceability
Software design and development and lead/conduct design reviews
Operating System architecture and design development
Low Level driver development
Socket Architecture/Programming Required Qualifications:
5+ years software development/integration experience - preferably with aerospace embedded systems
3+ years software requirements and design development
5+ years Linux OS experience
Experience with Open Standards, specifically Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Universal C2 Interface (UCI)
Fully proficient in C programming including architecture and board support packages
Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a required
Secret or TS Clearance preferred Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) standards for space data and information systems.
Command and Control Message (C2MS) standards
Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) technologies.
