Form Energy is hiring a Senior Electrical Testing Engineer to own and drive the functional and stress testing of our battery management electronics. This role reports into our System Engineering Team. As part of our team, you will contribute to test stand development/automation, creation of test specifications and processes, development of Hardware-In-The-Loop test setups, component stress testing, and system functional verification in collaboration with electrical and firmware teams.

What you'll do:

  1. Lead a skilled team in designing and building custom in-house testing systems to validate and stress-test product electronics and PCBAs, and control panels.
  2. Take ownership of the development and specification of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) test systems to achieve target performance and reliability.
  3. Develop and implement standardized test specifications and processes to streamline electronics testing.
  4. Collaborate on the Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) for electrical components, ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards.
  5. Oversee the setup and configuration of test benches for seamless component integration and validation.
  6. Prepare and deliver comprehensive validation reports, including detailed failure analyses and actionable recommendations.

What you'll bring:

  1. 4 years of experience in relevant positions.
  2. Demonstrated experience in HIL, electrical stress testing, test stand development/automation, and DVP&R.
  3. Rigorous systematic validation process and documentation.
  4. Creative problem-solving for cross-functional challenges.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
