Senior Electrical Engineer job duties:

Support electronic hardware systems design activities

Develop and refine electronic system and hardware requirements

Lead technical discussions and reviews with key stakeholders

Perform analysis in support of system verification, validation, and compatibility

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement as part of Agile product development

Track budgets and task completion in support of project management

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor"s degree in electrical engineering; Systems Engineering or related engineering discipline

5+ years of electrical design or electrical systems experience

Experience with structured requirements documentation systems such as DOORs or Jama

Demonstrated experience with the system requirements development cycle

Experience in aerospace, maritime, or other safety-critical industries

Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required

Active DoD Secret security clearance

Desired but not required skills:

Demonstrated experience with Agile for hardware as a developer, SCRUM master, or Product Owner

Experience with Jira and Confluence for project management and knowledge management

Experience with Siemens NX or Teamcenter

Experience with Matlab/Simulink

Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler

Experience with the design of systems with closed-loop control where performance over a wide range of harsh environmental conditions

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $125,000 to $160,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
