Our esteemed client in Franklin County, PA is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving the success of our engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through to execution.
- Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and system layouts using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
- Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong proficiency in electrical design and analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, PSpice).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience in power systems, control systems, or electronics design is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification.
- Experience with renewable energy systems or industrial automation.
- Familiarity with advanced simulation tools and electrical modeling software.
- Project management experience.
