Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and design excellence? We're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team working on technically exciting projects across multiple sectors.

This is a permanent, full-time position within a forward-thinking company that supports growth and development.

With offices through the Midlands, South East and Southwest there are many locations to be based from.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical design projects from concept through to completion
  • Act as Project Leader or key contributor on various projects
  • Attend client meetings and present technical solutions confidently
  • Support and mentor junior engineers, managing their work on shared projects
  • Promote high technical standards across the electrical discipline
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients and contribute to repeat business
  • Deliver high-quality designs using industry-standard tools and software
  • Produce technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Contribute to sustainable, innovative design solutions across diverse sectors
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards)
  • Candidates with HNC/HND and strong experience will also be considered
  • 4-8 years+ post-qualification experience in building services design
  • Strong knowledge of British & European Standards, Building Regs, and HTMs
  • Membership with a relevant professional body (CIBSE, IET)
  • Understanding of HV/LV systems, embedded generation, renewable technologies
  • Familiarity with BREEAM and low-carbon design strategies
  • Confident communicator with the ability to represent the business externally
  • Team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
